The Neighborhood Builder Program is for homes purchased in Sedgwick County. Qualified homebuyers can receive $3,100 in financial assistance. ($2,700 for down payment/closing costs and $500 for a required Homebuyers Education class) Homes sold as a Contract for Deed are not eligible for this program.
Are you Qualified?
- First time homebuyer or must not have owned a home in the last three years.
- Have a credit history free of delinquent obligations and demonstrate the ability to meet financial commitments.
- Be able to contribute at least $500 or the Lenders required contribution.
- Complete a Homebuyers Education course through Community Housing Services.
- Income is at or below 80% of the Area Median.
